Positions

Luxury Consignment Sales Associate
Position Status: OPEN

My Girlfriend's Wardrobe is seeking a friendly, dependable, and fashion-forward Sales Associate to join our team. Must be 18 years old or older. This position plays a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers and consignors while helping maintain the daily operations and presentation of our luxury consignment boutique.The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has an interest in fashion and designer brands, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. Knowledge of luxury, designer, and names brands is a big plus.

Pay:
$15 an hour

Benefits:
-10 hours of PTO each year
-Monthly bonus opportunities based on store performance and sales goals.
-Employee discount.

Hour Requirements:
Part time, 20-30 hours a week
Weekdays & Weekends
REQUIRED: Minimum of 2 Saturdays a month, some Sundays as needed

Daily Operations:

-Open and close the store according to established procedures.
-Process customer purchases accurately through the point-of-sale system.
-Update displays and merchandise presentations as inventory sells.
-Organize and maintain sales floor racks and merchandise areas.
-Move inventory to and from storage areas as needed.
-Assist with inventory organization and daily operational tasks.

Customer & Consignor Service

-Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
-Provide product recommendations and styling assistance.
-Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
-Assist consignors with questions, drop-offs, and general consignment inquiries.
-Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects the boutique's luxury shopping experience.

Store Appearance:

-Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
-Vacuum sales floor and common areas.
-Dust fixtures, shelving, and displays.
-Mop and clean underneath clothing racks and merchandise fixtures.
-Organize racks and maintain visual merchandising standards throughout the day.


Qualifications:

-Strong customer service and communication skills.Interest in fashion, luxury brands, and resale.
-Comfortable appearing in photos or videos for occasional social media content.
-Basic computer and social media skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Social Media & Website Support:

-Post new arrivals and featured merchandise to social media stories.
-Respond to customer comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms.
-Update website order statuses, including orders ready for pickup and completed pickups.
-Temporarily change product listings from active to draft status for items being purchased in-store to help prevent duplicate sales.

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
-Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
-Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform general retail housekeeping duties.
-Ability to distinguish colors accurately for merchandising, product identification, and customer assistance.
